The IACCSE announces a preview of its 2021 calendar of events

In occasion of the its 30th anniversary, the Italy America Chamber of Commerce is planning a new year rich of special events.
Following the public health guidance, during the first part of the year the IACCSE will hold mostly digital events, but with an international twist, as we will invite our members to connect and network with members from other Italian Chambers in North and South America.
During the second part of the year, we will hopefully go back to our signature in-person events including a spectacular Italian Gala in occasion of our 30th anniversary celebration.

V WEEK OF THE ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD

V WEEK OF THE ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD Miami, November 19, 2020

The Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World is a yearly initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The initiative has reached its fifth edition, confirming the international promotion of culinary and wine traditions that are distinctive traits of the Italian identity and culture. The theme of this year’s edition is: “Saperi e sapori delle terre italiane a 200 anni dalla nascita di Pellegrino Artusi”. Artusi was the brilliant author of the cookbook titled “Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well” (1891) which is considered a milestone in the Italian gastronomic culture.

The Consulate General of Italy in Miami is pleased to feature a Masterclass, that will
be streamed live from Italy by the Michelin star Chef Cristina Bowerman. Other outstanding experts, as biologist and nutritionist Antonio Galatà, President of the Associazione Italiana Nutrizionisti in Cucina (AINC) and Massimo Montanari, President of Casa Artusi’s Scientific Committee and Professor of Food History at Bologna University, will join the conversation.

This event aims at contributing to the educational enrichment of consumers and professionals in the food and beverage industry in order to promote the authenticity of the Italian taste, with a special focus on the expertise and empowerment of future chefs.
