Early this month the K2USA’s business partners Mr. Paolo Ruggeri & Mr. Andrea Lombardi hosted two events in Italy; first in Bologna and later in Verona. The hosted discussion offered an informative overview about business opportunity in US.
As underlined by Mr. Ruggeri the “Made in Italy” is still highly appreciated in the US, particularly in industries such as: Food & Beverage, Fashion, distribution of luxury brands and Automotives.
At the events Mr. Ruggeri spoke about important requirements and rules, necessary to smoothly access the American market, such as: the importance of being knowledgeable about Tax, Law, as well as the importance of being reliable even more than skilled, and to be willing to open one or multiple company’s branch in the US.
While the gained experience of Mr. Lombardi as a business developer of K2USA, allowed him to discuss the best strategies to succeed in the US market such as on site managing, some knowledge of cultural aspects and confidence in your own possibilities and “know how”.

Mr. Lombardi underlined the importance of identify opportunities for Italian companies through a one to one approach. He compared Fairs vs. Appointments = Temporary Export Manager, a service chosen from many Italian companies in the US that helped them saving money and to avoid trouble.
Lastly, Pierluigi Zuffi with (Innova Finance), explained how to gain access to European funds for innovation and internationalization process.
Meanwhile, Antonello Di Giovanni, special guest from Miami, FL. described the advantages that the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce in Miami gives to their members.
